ZENBER Architects designs office environment for Miro
OFFICE AS A LIVING LAB
Miro will open the doors of her new office in Amsterdam in March. A completely new workplace concept should ensure that the 900 employees are happy to keep coming to the office to share knowledge and work together. The new design by ZENBER Architects was created in close collaboration with Miro's employees.
The new office environment is spread over three floors, totalling 10,500 m2. And is located in the recently sustainable and renovated multi-business building Edge Stadium in the middle of the Zuidas in Amsterdam. The office concept for Miro consists of two zones: the Urban Garden and the Neighbourhoods.
Urban Garden as a dynamic meeting zone
On each floor, there is a dynamic and green multifunctional area, the Urban Garden. It is positioned around the atrium and at the end of the office. The various facilities, meeting places and collaborative workplaces such as the biophilic library, cozy café, Miro bistro and the Miro Discovery Center can be used by the entire organization.
Working in your own Neighbourhood
Each team is assigned its own Neighbourhood. Each Neighberhood consists of different zones with a wide variety of work and meeting places. The standard workstations are positioned on the façade side. In the middle area, a short distance from these workplaces, there are various pavilions. Here you will find the concentration, brainstorming, stand-up, calling and meeting rooms.
The landing sites are located around the core, in the Camp Out zone. These are intended for employees who belong to a Neighbourhood and can work here for a short time and then join a meeting or meeting in the adjacent pavilions.
Due to the flexible and adaptable design of the Neighbourhoods, each team has maximum autonomy over the design and use of their Neighbourhoods.
Miro, all in a visual environment
Miro is a technology company with an online tool where users manage innovation projects, design products and build the future together in a visual work environment. Miro is an endless online whiteboard full of tools designed for creative brainstorming and collaboration.
