ZENBER designs Smallingerland Town Hall

Integral and appropriate design
The municipality of Smallingerland has the ambition to sustainably revitalize its existing town hall. The large-scale renovation aims to make the building future-proof and to meet current requirements in terms of energy, sustainability and circularity. The 5-storey town hall covers approximately 10,000 m2. The building parts vary in construction years from 1974, 1984, 2003 and 2007.
The municipality wishes to facilitate a hospitable and attractive public and meeting area in the town hall: a place where employees, residents, relations and guests like to come to have contact with each other, get advice and retrieve and share information. With a new workplace concept where, through flexibility and shared use, more can be focused on collaborating and meeting.
