Inspiring and interactive lecture
Presentation about circular design with biobased materials
Last Tuesday, Carlien den Uijl, interior designer and sustainability expert at ZENBER Architects, gave an inspiring and interactive lecture about circular design with biobased materials, such as mycelium, reeds, hemp and rose petals.

ZENBER designs for a sustainable future
ZENBER Architects feels a strong social responsibility in its design work. Sustainability is, of course, integrated into the design process. We design with care for the world around us and make conscious choices. A sustainable interior uses energy and resources efficiently and minimizes waste at the end of its life. In addition, we create an interior that is functional, efficient, popular and meets the needs of all users. By focusing on flexibility and future-proofing, we create a design that can easily be adapted to changing layouts and uses.

Biobased materials
With biobased materials, we opt for products from renewable sources, such as wood, bamboo, wool and hemp. These materials have a low environmental impact and contribute to healthier indoor air and a sustainable construction chain. Biobased is therefore a smart choice for both people and nature.
