SCHIPHOL LOUNGE 1: TRANSFER CLUSTER IN USE

Transfer Cluster in Lounge 1
In recent years, ZENBER Architecten, in collaboration with Schiphol, Benthem Crouwel, Naco and other parties, developed the design for Lounge 1, part of which is the transfer cluster.
Â
This transfer cluster is the busiest transfer cluster at Schiphol and plays an important role in rebooking passengers in case of delayed or missed flights. The transfer cluster in Lounge 1 consists of two parts: T2 for the KLM transfer desks and T3 the “other carriers” transfer desks used by other airlines.

In the coming months, Lounge 1 will continue to work hard on the next phases of the more than 24,000 m2 of passenger area with new facilities, such as restaurants and shops. The innovation is part of the investment plans to improve operational services and quality at the airport.
