Sustainable and inclusive work environment

This summer, the renewed offices of Nationale Nederlanden and OHRA will open in 'Landmark Arnhem'. This building has a BREEAM-NL certificate and is Well-ready.

NN wants to empower employees to get the best out of themselves. The work environment plays an important role here. That is why NN facilitates sustainable and inclusive work environments.

The new hybrid work environment is a place for meetings, collaboration, events and creativity.

Connect to nature

The green experience is visible and tangible both inside and out. The office offers fantastic views of the green surroundings. You can land under sustainable plant frames. These are made from harvested and sustainable materials

Ambition is WELL-platinum

Reusing furniture, entertaining custom elements and using proven responsible biobased materials contribute to the 100% circular and zero waste work environment.

The cores are covered with harvested wood from demolition streams. These are interspersed with exhibition boxes where objects from the Art & History department are exhibited. Studio Wae carpet tiles come from waste streams and are used in a contemporary pattern.

The high ambition for WELL-Platinum formulates specific health criteria in areas such as air, water, food, light, movement, thermal comfort, acoustics and materials. The design is based on the 10-R model and the environmental impact has been made clear by means of an MKI calculation.
