The task
Stolt-Nielsen, a global leader in bulk liquid logistics and aquaculture products, was looking for a new office that reinforces their identity while at the same time matching modern work concepts. The new office was supposed to support hybrid working and provide an inspiring work environment for employees and visitors. In addition, sustainability and brand experience were central to the design.

A forward-looking office for a global leader
The new Stolt-Nielsen office, designed by ZENBER Architects, is located in the Westerlaantoren in Rotterdam's historic Shipping Quarter. This prestigious location offers a unique view of the Meuse and the surrounding park. The office, with an area of 5,500 m² spread over six floors, is fully equipped according to the “Workplace of the Future” concept.
Prestigious design in an iconic location
The interior combines open work spaces with flexible project spaces, meeting rooms, MS Teams rooms and phone booths. Upon arrival, employees and visitors are welcomed into a warm, green living room. The 2nd and 3rd floors are designed as a restaurant and meeting center, perfect for formal and informal meetings. Throughout the office, Stolt-Nielsen's brand identity is visible, reinforcing the company's core values and vision.
