A new design for Schiphol Lounge 1

A space with living trees, shops, workplaces and lounge chairs. Light effects that show you the right path. A total reorganization of the existing 13,000 m2 and no less than 6,000 m2 of land area added. These are some of the special parts of Schiphol Lounge 1's new design.

Passenger experience

To increase the passenger experience, quality and safety of Lounge 1, Schiphol decided to put both the home architects, Benthem Crouwel Architects, together with NACO (BCN), and interior designer, ZENBER Architects, to work.
